ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT (AMC)

WITH COMPREHENSIVE COVERAGE

This Annual Maintenance Contract (“AMC”) is entered into between Veenus Computers, located at [insert address] (“Service Provider”), and the customer (“Client”) who accepts these terms by purchasing the AMC on https://veenuscomputers.com.

  1. Scope of Services

The Service Provider agrees to deliver maintenance and support services for the equipment/products listed in the AMC purchase.
Comprehensive AMC includes:

  • Preventive maintenance (scheduled check-ups)
  • Corrective maintenance (fault diagnosis and repair)
  • Replacement of defective parts (excluding consumables)*
  • Software diagnostics, updates & patch installations
  • On-site support and remote assistance

*Consumables include but are not limited to: batteries, toner/ink, paper, cables, accessories unless specified.

  1. Contract Period

The AMC is valid for 12 months from the date of acceptance/invoice unless terminated earlier as per these terms.

  1. Service Request & Response

  • Client will raise service requests via email/phone/portal.
  • The Service Provider will acknowledge within [X] hours and commit to attending on-site within [Y] business days, subject to location and availability.
  1. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate product details (brand, model, serial numbers)
  • Ensure access to equipment at scheduled visit times
  • Backup data prior to maintenance; data loss is not the responsibility of the Service Provider
  • Pay AMC fees as specified and on time
  1. Service Exclusions

The following are not covered under Comprehensive AMC unless explicitly added:

  • Physical damage due to misuse, natural calamities, electrical surges
  • Software or OS reinstallation beyond diagnostics
  • Upgrades to new major versions of software
  • Third-party hardware/software not supported by the Service Provider
  1. Replacement Parts

Parts replaced during service remain the property of the Service Provider until fully paid. Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or equivalent.

  1. Fees & Payment

  • AMC fee is due at the time of purchase.
  • No refunds are issued after services start.
  • Late payments may incur interest or suspension of service.
  1. Termination

This AMC may be canceled by:

  • Client with 30 days’ written notice
  • Service Provider for non-payment or breach of terms

Outstanding fees for services already rendered must be settled upon termination.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Data loss or recovery costs

Total liability is limited to the AMC fees paid by the Client.

  1. Confidentiality & Data Privacy

Both parties agree to protect customer data and privacy as per applicable law.

  1. Governing Law

This contract is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.

  1. Acceptance

By purchasing this AMC, the Client acknowledges and accepts these terms.

WITHOUT COMPREHENSIVE COVERAGE

This Annual Maintenance Contract (“AMC”) covers only basic maintenance services as defined below and excludes all comprehensive benefits.

  1. Scope of Services

The Service Provider will offer:

  • Corrective maintenance only (repair services when faults occur)
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • Remote support (where applicable)

No preventive maintenance or part replacements unless specifically added.

  1. Contract Period

Valid for 12 months from purchase date.

  1. Service Requests

  • Requests through email/phone.
  • Support provided remotely or on-site based on service availability and chargeable as per tariff.
  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Maintain backups of data
  • Provide access to equipment
  • Pay all charges as per schedule
  1. Exclusions

This AMC does not include:

  • Replacement parts
  • Preventive visits
  • Software installations beyond basic diagnostics
  • On-site support charges (may be billed separately)
  1. Fees & Payment

  • AMC fee must be paid at purchase.
  • Additional charges apply for parts, on-site visits, and services not included.
  1. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days’ notice. Fees for services received remain due.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Service Provider’s liability limited to the amount paid under this AMC. No responsibility for data loss.

  1. Governing Law

Laws of India apply; disputes to be adjudicated in competent courts.

  1. Acceptance

Purchase confirms acceptance of these terms.
